Bank Mandiri to provide assistance worth 50 million to improve the quality of social life through the development Boyolali Village Hall in the Village Dragan, District enemy of good, Boyolali, Monday (23/01/2012).

The aid was symbolically handed over by Dyah Mustikaningsih, Operation Manager of the Bank into the village chief Dragan in the presence of members of the House of Representatives Commission XI Mohammad Hatta and all invited guests and the public.

In his press conference, Operation Manager of Bank Mandiri, Solo, Dyah Mustikaningsih said grant is one of the corporate social responsibility program (CSR), Bank Mandiri.

"This grant is also a form of appreciation to our local community which has been providing support to Bank Mandiri in developing the business," said Dyah Mustikaningsih.

Dyah Mustikaningsih explained, Bank Mandiri implementation of CSR programs implemented through three main pillars. For the first pillar is the establishment of an independent community via Joint Mandiri Mandiri program with the aim of fostering the community or communities in an integrated way in terms of capacity, infrastructure, capabilities and access.

Next is the achievement of independence and entrepreneurship education through programs Entrepreneurial Self and Self-Care Education which aims to create future leaders who are ready to global competition.

Last pillar is the provision of support facilities for the provision of clean water, renewable energy, planting trees on marginal lands, mangrove planting and maintenance, procurement of urban parks and ego development of tourism.

"Therefore, this grant is one of our strategy to realize what has become our major programs in delivering social care company. Until December 2011, Bank Mandiri CSR delivery through the Community Development Program at the Regional Office VII Semarang has been disbursed Rp 4.1 billion for various activities, "he explained.

Meanwhile, Sarnyoto, Dragan mayor, said that he welcomed the Bank Mandiri CSR is to improve the construction of the Village Hall Dragan. The village hall was built four years but has not been completed.

"The hope for the future in addition to providing development assistance is the Village Hall, Bank Mandiri can also provide convenience to the farmer and the cattle in the village of Dragan to get soft loans from Bank Mandiri"
